World War Punk

My job is to measure maps, calculate angles, and fire two tons of shells into enemy positions.
I've fired countless shells, and I don't think how many people will die, let alone the horror of the shells exploding. Measurements, calculations, loading and launching never stop from spring to winter.
During the interval between launches, I would look home through the telescope and imagine that when the war ended, I would return to school to teach and continue to be a teacher.
